The project led by Liding on “Transformation and Promotion of Rural Sewage Low-carbon Ecological Governance Technology” was successfully accepted

Jiangsu Liding Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. took the lead and jointly applied for and was approved to undertake the Jiangsu Provincial Ecological and Environmental Research Project – “Transformation and Promotion of Low-carbon Ecological Governance Technology for Rural Sewage” with Changzhou University and Jiangsu Suzhou Environmental Monitoring Center. At the project acceptance meeting organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment on November 15, 2024, after the project team’s summary report, expert review, questioning and discussion of the acceptance materials, the acceptance expert group believed that the project had completed the tasks specified in the project contract and unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance.
This project aims to solve the problem that conventional engineering treatment measures for rural domestic sewage are difficult to apply in areas with dense water networks and hilly and mountainous areas. It aims to develop suitable low-carbon ecological treatment and control technologies for rural domestic sewage, and promote their application in actual application scenarios, so as to achieve the recycling of nitrogen and phosphorus resources and the reuse of water resources, and significantly reduce the average cost of sewage treatment for farmers. The project has undergone strict review in multiple stages, including project application, defense review, opening demonstration, mid-term inspection, and project acceptance. During the two-year project implementation period, the research team conducted in-depth research, achieved a series of important results, and achieved remarkable results in practical applications.
In line with the current technical needs for resource utilization and ecological management of rural sewage, the project has carried out research and development of integrated micro-power sewage purification technology, improved AO bio-ecological combination process technology, automatic control and intelligent monitoring technology, etc., forming a set of low-carbon ecological management and control technologies for rural domestic sewage, and carried out demonstration, promotion and application, basically realizing the recycling of nitrogen and phosphorus resources and water resources reuse, reducing the average household cost of sewage treatment for farmers, and achieving low-carbon, ecological and intelligent management. Through the implementation of the project, the tasks of patent application, authorization and standard formulation have been completed, and one new equipment (rural domestic sewage low-carbon ecological intelligent management equipment) and one new process (MHAT+O household domestic sewage treatment process) have been developed. One production line for rural sewage low-carbon ecological management equipment has been built (Liding Environmental Protection Hai’an Production Base), and two application and promotion demonstration sites (Jidong Village, Xiaoji Town, Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, and Shanpeng Village, Xuebu Town, Jintan District, Changzhou City) have been built. Based on the successful pilot demonstration in Jiangsu Province, the project results have been promoted to more than 300 districts and counties in more than 20 provinces and cities in China and more than 10 countries overseas including the UAE, the United States, India, Vietnam, France, Australia, etc., and have won high praise from users.
The successful acceptance of this project fully demonstrates the technical innovation strength of Liding Environmental Protection in the field of decentralized sewage treatment. It not only indicates that the relevant technologies of this project have been recognized and promoted in Jiangsu Province, but also provides a new paradigm for rural domestic sewage treatment that is simpler, more economical, more efficient, more environmentally friendly and more intelligent.
